My favorite bird is the finch. I like to watch it eat upside down at the feeders in my yard. It is a pretty yellow color with black on its wings. It flies up and down like it is so happy to be visiting my backyard.
My favorite backyard bird is the Carolina Wren. This is a tiny bird with a lot of attitude and a song to match! I love how it's tail stands up so straight, just like a little soldier.
